David A. DeWahl, Jr. - Managing Director 

Mr. DeWahl has over 25 years of experience as an investment banker. For the majority of his career he has focused on companies in the health care industry, where his foremost concentration has been on clients in the life sciences sector.

Mr. DeWahl has managed the capital raising process for public and private companies, including initial public offerings, follow-on transactions, PIPEs and registered directs for numerous health care companies.  He also has extensive M&A advisory experience and has also advised clients on corporate partnering and licensing transactions. Mr. DeWahl has previously been affiliated as a Managing Director and senior investment banker with Vector Securities, Prudential Securities, CIBC Oppenheimer and Bank of America. He received a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.

Mr. DeWahl’s clients at prior firms include Biomatrix, bioMerieux, Cambridge Instruments, Chase Pharmaceutical Company, Creative BioMolecules, Curis, Enzon, Hemosol Corp., H & Q Life Sciences, Institut Merieux, Integra Lifesciences, Ista Pharmaceuticals, Mediscus plc, Novavax, OSI Pharmaceuticals, Raytheon – Imaging Division and Univax Biologics.
